Car remapping is where you take the parameters and data from the cars Engine Control Unit (ECU) and modify them using the correct software to tune the car to give more power (BHP) and more torque (Nm).

When a car leaves a factory it is always de-tuned by the manufacturer, hence the desire to re-tune your car to its full potential. Therefore if your car feels 'sluggish', or not as powerful or quick as it once felt, then a remap is right for you. 

Here at Vmaps we hold the original data from your ECU so if you do change your mind for whatever reason then we can download the original data back onto your car at an additional cost of £50.

At Vmaps we offer lifetime warranty on all of our remaps. Please be aware that if your car has existing problems before the remap then we cannot be held responsible for further damage to mechanical components. 

We do not have a rolling road at Vmaps. However you do not require a rolling road when remapping a car, all the rolling roads will tell you is the power and torque figures that the car started with and has gained, and all at a massive cost. If you want a rolling then you're looking at anything from £400.

Yes! At Vmaps we do offer mobile services at an additional cost within the Cheshire area. If you are outside this area then please contact us and we may be able to accommodate.
